“THE JADE PYRAMID” BY BOB SCOTT

The Jade Pyramid tells the story of Billy, a young man coming of age in the 1960’s in the American West, who is searching for meaning through his own dreams and experiences. It is a fictional true story inspired by the social and emotional upheavals of the 1960’s in Northern California. The play includes original and other music, and lyrical passages interspersed with dry humor.

Bob Scott has been a member of several well-known Bay Area bands, including Lucky Lew, a jazz and pop band; Rhythm Kitchen, an award-winning jazz/world music band; and Dave Marz Band, an instrumental group playing original compositions of his own and by other local composers.  The Jade Pyramid was a finalist in the Harriett Lake Festival of New Plays in Orlando, Florida.   http://.yahoo.com/events/The-Jade-Pyramid  DEAN HARLEM
